Face to face events are back. How many events will you be attending?

If you still aren’t sure, then you need to make a change. Networking is one of the most effective forms of lead generation. Understandably over the last 18 months we have been networking in the comfort of our own home.

Most of these networking events have precautions put in place to make sure everyone is happy. Usually by offering a traffic light system, red meaning I would like space when talking to people, yellow meaning I’m comfortable but only an elbow as hello, green meaning we can hug, shake hands. This system is a great way to understand how each attendee feels so that everyone is comfortable and happy.

Now that life is getting back to normal, networking is a great way to reach more clients, learn and grow your business.

Here are a few reasons why networking is a key strategy to implement within your business to see success:

Increasing your confidence
When you network regularly, you learn how to talk about your business but not only that you learn how to talk confidently to other peers.  Networking is about being friendly, approachable but also it’s about selling.  There is an art to not pushing for a sale but for dropping in different tactics that will get business owners thinking about how your company works in order to create a professional relationship.

Raising your profile
Attending networking events will start to get you and your business noticed.  People will be able to put a face to the name.  Not only that but networking can improve your reputation.  Sharing your knowledge, experience and information with people around you will help gain you strong business relationships which in time will lead to you finding new referrals.

Businesses of any size
Networking isn’t just about spending time with businesses similar to your own. In fact, networking is an opportunity to work with like-minded businesses all working towards a similar goal: success. It can bring you connections with businesses who are in a completely different industry then you.

The key to great networking is not how many people you meet but how many people want to meet you. If you want to learn more about how be successful when networking then why not book yourself in for a complimentary Business Coaching session. Click Here.
